GET READY AND ....Bring a Five Dollar Bill and your 4x6, 3x5, 5x7, 8x10 photos for our Black Friday Free Photo Scanning Promotion. Book your one free appointment (VALID ON Black Friday November 29, 2019 ONLY) as soon as possible. Our 30 minute time slots range from 8am to 5:30pm and allot for 20-25 minutes of scanning. Booking multiple times slots is frowned upon (aka not allowed) and may result in public humiliation (just kidding about the humiliation part only).

Is it really free? Yes the scanning is free but we will upload your images to a 1-4gb NEW flash drive that you purchase for $5.00 (cash).
Is the flash drive new and is it free? Yes on New — Never used. No, it’s $5.00 and that is why you should bring a $5.00 bill. The Scanning is FREE!
What Scan resolution and quality should I expect? Depending on how many photos you want scanned in 20-25 minutes will depend on the resolution. We can scan at 300ppi to 600ppi and this if perfect for sharing on facebook, email and other social media outlets. You can print from the scans with good quality at the same size of the original photo or large.
Can you make my bad photo look good? We can auto color correct you faded photos with very good results. We can’t correct your lousy focusing ability or camera shake. … We’ll we can but not for free. Can you make my really really good photo look bad? Yes but we are not know for that service. So for this promotion the answer stays at NO.
Can you scan damaged photos and photos in albums or mounted? The photos can not be mounted to a surface , torn, or have glue, tape or other foreign objects on the front or back.

Can you scan photo images larger than 8”x10”? Yes but for this Black Friday Free Photo Scanning event we are limiting the scans to no larger than 8x10.
What is the smallest photo you can scan? For this Black Friday Free Photo Scanning event we are limiting the smallest at 3” x 5”. We can scan very very small photos, slides and negatives at very high resolution but that is for another day. Chat with us during your appointment.
How many photos should I expect you to scan in 20-25 minutes? If your photos are well organized, sorted by orientation and size it is not uncommon to scan 100-500 plus photos in 20 minutes. Now do you understand the “Five Dollars is Really Really Cheap” part?
Is this a DIY scanning event? Yes and No. Your DIY part is to show up on time, bring your photos, $5 and then we do the scanning and moving the images to a flash drive — This all happens during your 30 minute appointment.
What if I want printed copies? We do that but not for free. We are a fine art printer specializing in artist reproductions, fine photographs as well as we scan, print and custom frame images of all types. We do a great job of photo restoration among other things. Printing is not required but if you want some prints feel free to chat with us during your appointment. Can we pay our $5.00 with our Credit Card? NOPE … You can however pay with your credit card if it looks exactly like and feels like a $5.00 US Bill.
What happens if I’m late? First we will give you the stink eye. Then we will try to remember that you may be a future customer so we will smile and say something like …”I bet you have been up since 1am standing in line at a big box store then fell asleep at IHOP and came late to your appointment. It’s ok — we understand.” Really we understand - Life happens but if you miss or are late to your appointment you go back to the end of the line or the next available appointment time. First appointment of the day 8:00am. Last 5:30pm. BTW our stink eye is really really good! But don’t test us please!
What if you damage our photo in the scanning process? We will say we are very sorry then remind you that this promotion is auto scanning and there is a very unlikely chance of a scan tear. High Desert Frameworks is not responsible for the unlikely damage to your photograph in the scanning process, equipment failures, power outages, hurricanes, earthquakes on Black Friday or the flat tire that you used as an excuse for showing up late ;-)
How do we book an appointment? First you reread all the information. Commit to getting all your photo’s organized, set 4 alarms on your phone alarm and calendar then go to: bit.ly/BlackFridayFreePhotoScanning to book your appointment.
Can your repeat the important things? Yes: Book your appointment, don’t be late, Photo's must be grouped in like sizes (3x5, 4x6, etc) for scanning. The photos can not be mounted to surface or have glue, tape or other foreign objects on the front or back. The scanned images will be formatted in JPG format and upload to a 1-4gb New Flash drive that you purchase for $5.00. If your photos are well organized, sorted by orientation and size it is not uncommon to scan 100-500 plus photos in 20 minutes. Flash drive will cost you a $5 bill. You must own the copyright or have permission to allow us to scan the original photographs. Watch out for nails in the road.
Do other restrictions apply? Yes but we haven’t thought of them all yet. (The correct answer should be no but we are sure we didn’t think of everything. Feel free to think for us!)
