Assistant Manager with Custom Picture Framer experience - Full Time
Experience: A proven record and a minimum of twelve months in a custom picture framing establishment, big box store, small retail frame shop, or custom picture framing wholesale operations. Prior supervisory and management experience is a plus.
Compensation: $55,500 to $65,000 per year DOE.
Benefits include Six Paid Holidays, Paid PTO (personal time off), a Paid Sick Leave policy, a company match retirement investment opportunity, a paid parking garage parking pass, access to a stocked refrigerator and healthy snacks, a weekly peak holiday lunch program, and a whole lot of fun!
Employment type: Full Time 40 hours a week, potentially additional hours during peak holiday or summer season.
Background Check: Pre-employment background check completed with all job offers.
Schedule: Five day shifts per week for a total of 40 hours. High Desert Frameworks is open Monday through Saturday. After the initial training period, expect a schedule from Tuesday to Saturday.
Experienced Custom Picture Framer - Part Time
Experience: A proven record of a minimum of six months in a custom picture framing establishment, big box store, small retail frame shop, custom picture framing wholesale operations, or 6 months in the fine cabinetry industry.
Compensation: $23-$26+ per hour DOE.

Employment type: Part-time 20-30 hours a week, potentially additional hours during peak holiday or summer season.

Schedule: Two to three day shifts per week for a total of 20-25 hours. High Desert Frameworks is open Monday through Saturday. After the initial training period, expect to work a two to three-day schedule that includes Saturday.

The preferred candidate will have knowledge and familiarity with handling artwork, a love for design and custom picture framing, a creative problem-solving ability, and a willingness to learn, adapt, and excel. Attention to detail is a must—we love perfectionists! A candidate with a critical eye for detail will enable success within the role.

Qualifications:
Safely use and operate tools, machinery, and equipment

Able to lift and carry 50lbs, stand for long periods
Solid customer service skills
One year of proven picture framing experience in a custom picture framing establishment, big box store, small retail frame shop, or custom picture framing wholesale operation.
Responsibilities:
Utilize safe work practices
Interact with the public in an educational and sales environment
Cut and join frames
Fit artwork into frames
Cut glass, mats, etc.
Mount artwork
Hand-wrap fabric mats, liners, and other custom components
Stretch canvases
Computerized mat cutting
Quality control inspection of all pieces in the framing package
Utilize Windows and Mac-based POS systems and web-based applications
